Lunch Bunch enjoyed a visit to Saltgrass Steakhouse in Round Rock.

The Girlfriends group checked out the new Bar Louie at the Embassy Suites hotel.

We met for our monthly Pot Luck , May 12th at Patricia Belodoff’s. Our main course was Chicken Cordon Bleu. Delicious! After dinner we had a riot playing Gestures. What FUN!

Needle Arts meeting at Wendy DeVoe’s  - 5-12-22 with Julie Petrovic and our items for donation.

Our final meeting and luncheon of 2021-22 was bittersweet with goodbyes to our wonderful catering staff [Alfred is selling his business], and our 2021-22 Board [most of them served on the Board for 3 years!], and some auxiliary chairs. Marti presented gifts from the Board to outgoing President Karla. Karla passed the gavel to incoming President Maureen and welcomed members new to the Board for 2022-23. Caring Hands collected PB&J for Round Rock Serving Center, a tradition started by Jackie W many years ago. The photographer was going around asking guests to show off their jewelry. Following lunch, members of Round Rock High School Musical Theatre Department performed a fabulous program of show tunes. WOW - what talent!

Ellen hosted a well-attended Board meeting this month. It was the final meeting for this year's Board. Some of the incoming Board members attended as guests. We helped President Karla get a head start on her birthday.

The Photos With Class group spent a day strolling in downtown Llano in search of interesting photo subjects. They began with a tour of the Llano County Courthouse. Deputy Ted shared all the history of the courthouse, the town, the county and some state facts, too. He was able to share some personal stories of his own, having lived in the area his entire life. The group had lunch at Joe's Bar & Grill, then checked out some shops before going to Grenwelge Park to see rock stacks left over from the Llano Earth Arts Festival in March.
