Caring Hands volunteered at AGE of Texas Adult Thrive and Wellness Center

It was business as usual at this month's general meeting. Dian explained the new Carpool Policy, Caring Hands collected more than 1,000 pill bottles for the WILCO animal shelter, Gwen supplied us with beautiful door prizes, and Ann won the 50/50 drawing. But everyone was excited about the program! Our program was presented by Sharon Dunning, Education and Ambassador Animal Coordinator with All Things Wild Rehabilitation. All Things Wild is a Georgetown nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured, orphaned and sick wildlife, with the goal of returning animals to the wild whenever possible. Sharon and her associate, Nancy Dytrich, brought two of All Things Wild’s ambassador animals to meet us – Luna, an owlet, and Magnolia, a baby possum.
