Caring Hands spent a wonderfully productive morning at Hope Totes. We wrote out size tags for tote bags, balled socks to insure that each child always receives pairs of socks, removed price tags from hundreds of clothing items, and filled tote bags for delivery. After a delicious meatloaf lunch, Tiffany Osburn, who is an Archeologist with the Texas Historical Commission, spoke to us about 'The Gault Site'. The 'Gault Site' is a significant archaeological site just 30 miles from Round Rock near Florence, TX. It is renowned for its extensive evidence of early human occupation, including pre-Clovis* cultures, potentially dating back 20,000 years. A big thank you to Tiffany for an interesting presentation!
