Shopping with Friends had a great day in Salado! We shopped for gifts and jewelry, had lunch and visited the Glassworks shop to see them making their products. Thanks to all the ladies who joined me today for the fun! Amy Watercott

Stella hosted us for the April Coffee Time. It was a beautiful spring day for chatting with friends and guests - and there was some food there too!

The Lunch Bunch met at Milano Ristorante in Round Rock for some fine Italian food.

Casino Night was some SERIOUS FUN! Even though the money wasn't real, out gamblers played with zeal! What great prizes! And a super Silent Auction! Thank you to Kevin for being our outstanding announcer! And BIG APPLAUSE to GWEN K and CAROLE for putting together a night of great fun!

Girlfriends met for good times and good food on the patio at Urban Eat Drink in Round Rock.

Here are some photo memories of our Needle Arts trip to the Austin Creative Reuse Center (ACRC) on April 14, with lunch afterwards at a fun restaurant nearby, Hank’s on Berkman Drive. The ACRC is in new, more spacious quarters with plenty of parking, but your eyes still can’t take in all the stuff they have - and many people with more donations were coming in while we were there! People found cute fabric for Hope Totes pillowcases, framing board to cut for name tags, items for Easter egg hunts, needle point kits, cross-stitch magazines (20 for 25 cents!!!), and lots of other fun stuff.

Thirteen of us had a wonderful time at Joyce's Brunch. The afternoon was filled with tours, talk and our stomachs were yummily filled as well. Thanks to Joyce so very much, and to all the delightfully delicious food everyone brought.

The April Luncheon was a festive event with bright Easter colors on the tables. The Photographer was telling people, "Show me your handbag." The Book and Puzzle Swap was a huge success with lots left over to be donated to the Veterans Hospital in Temple. We were disappointed that the Fire Fighters planned for our program couldn't make it, but we had fun playing a game and mingling.

Several ladies pitched in for Caring Hands, helping organize bags for Hope Totes.

Those gals in Needle Arts never slow down! This week they delivered more blankets and toys to Hope Totes for Caring Hands ladies to organize the next day,

The April Board Meeting was hosted by Polly at her home. Karla was ill so Marti led the meeting. Good job, Marti!

Photos With Class explored downtown Hutto looking for cute Hippos. Of course, you can't go to Hutto and not have PIE!

The Explore The Arts! group gathered at the Palace Theater in Georgetown for an evening performance of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 The Musical. Natalie got us tickets right up front!
