For over 35 years, Caring Hands has collected jars of Peanut Butter and Jelly at our May luncheon. This annual donation to the food pantry at the Round Rock Area Serving Center helps families in need during the summer months when schools are closed and free breakfasts and lunches are no longer available. Add some PB & J to your food donations to be collected at our annual May picnic luncheon.
We will also collect any cell phones you would like to donate at the picnic. They will be delivered to Hope Alliance, our local women’s shelter.
And books and puzzles for our book swap. Anything not taken to a new home will be donated to the VA Hospital in Temple.
Start thinking of items you have around the house that could be donated to a group in need. If you have suggestions of items to donate, please let me know and I will start looking for new homes for them as I prepare our 2021-2022 Caring Hands calendar.
