The Safari group's last event before summer break was an excursion to Round Rock West Park. The ladies brought picnic lunches, played some games, and enjoyed visiting in the shade under a tree by the lake. Later, some went to Freddy's for custard treats.

The Lunch Bunch group always enjoys Fish City Grill in Georgetown - the food is good and the staff members are fun!

Good Morning! Social is a great group for relaxed conversation with new friends. The group meets on the 4th Monday each month at Corner Bakery. Everyone is welcome!

The Caring Hands & Safari groups teamed up to take tours at Brookwood In Georgetown (BIG). Gayle reports that the lunch after the tour "was delicious. That's chocolate bourbon pecan pie and a BIG wrap w/chicken, cheese, lettuce and bacon. The fresh fruit was also wonderful."

This year's annual party was loads of fun. A BIG THANKS to all who helped out with donations, creations, helping setup and close up, desserts, gifts and volunteer hours! Thank you to Melissa and her committee for pulling it all off smoothly! Check out our YouTube Channel to watch our ladies do line dancing: https://youtu.be/_K1A4NmjaXo

This month's meeting was a busy one - installation of 2023-24 officers, several guests and new members, gifts for helpers and outgoing officers, our annual PB&J collection, excitement for this year's party coming up this weekend, and a stellar performance by harpist Kristen Gibbs. What a grand finale to 2022-23!

Judy Steele and Kris Caballero just made a delivery to Julie Petrovic and Hope Totes-yesterday. Julie was beyond delighted. The gifts included over 100 toiletry bags, over 75 pillowcases, and dozens of toys made with the material Lilith’s friend donated (thanks to your advocacy for Needle Arts)!! There were also some yarn and fleece toys and pillows made with materials from other generous donors. MORE pillowcases and hygiene bags are still being made with your material for another delivery down the road. I’m attaching a few photos of the beautiful largesse. Thanks so so much. These items mean more than words can say to the children who get them.
