There were 45 vendors under tents on South Main and several adjoining streets. The booths mostly had paintings and photographs, with a few other arts such as jewelry and pottery. The shops themselves were not directly part of the Festival, but I did point out Handcrafts Unlimited (where the photo of Pat was taken) which is a non-profit that has handcrafts made by seniors in and around Williamson County. We had a bright, sunny day. We broke into smaller groups as people browsed, but reconvened at Little Lemon, the coffee shop in the Georgetown Public Library, at the end of the afternoon to discuss what we had found.

Caring Hands toured the Texas Baptist Children's Home and learned about the facilities and their programs. It was a fascinating tour and if there is additional interest, another one can be scheduled. The photos show the group outside one of the cottages housing two families and an independent living apartment, and the group in the beautifully appointed living room of one of the cottages.

Shirley Dillman from the Round Rock Lions Club spoke to us about their upcoming medical mission to donate glasses in third world countries. Thank you to everyone who donated!
