It was so delightful to see Needle Arts alum Pam Jernigan and what she created so quickly for her exhibit “Whimsical Stitches” at the Georgetown Library, which will run through Feb. 20. She thought she had from Dec. 2021 until February 2023 to get ready. Nope, that telescoped down to 2-1/2 months, instead!!! But the results were magical, from the life-size fairy house filled with charming fairies; to her glowing, intricate “Exquisite Image” made of fabric, resin, and stone; to her “Log Cabin on the Lake” quilt bought by a veteran because it “calmed him.”
