Our Connections
Caring Hands
Caring Hands is the volunteer segment of New Neighbors of Greater Round Rock and is open to all members. We partner with local organizations throughout the area by donating our time to assist in whatever capacity we are able. We have decorated placemats for Meals on Wheels, wrapped holiday gifts for local families as part of the Round Rock Police Department operation Blue Santa, sorted donated clothing at the Round Rock Area Serving Center, and filled tote bags with new items for foster children to name just a few.
Caring Hands conducts reduce, reuse and recycle donation collections during the year to benefit many local agencies. Books and puzzles to the Veterans Hospital in Temple. Food collections for our local food pantry. Eyeglasses to the Lions Club. Pet items for the local animal shelters. And so much more.
Our events are always listed on our calendar, so check them out and join us!
Our Luncheon Programs
New Neighbors provides interesting activities and opportunities for growth and connection. Through our programs and special events, we engage members to learn about and to support social and civic activities for fun, awareness, philanthropy, education and foster active ways in which they can participate in the Greater Round Rock area. We invite guest speakers, community leaders, school groups, non-profit and other organizations to present at our monthly Luncheon Programs.
Previous speakers have inspired, educated, and enlightened us with their stories and knowledge. In the coming year we look forward to furthering our connection with the community and continuing to present interesting programs for your enjoyment.
