Our little annual Fall Craft Fair was a huge success!

Thanks to everyone who helped set up and plan the craft fair, especially the vendors who brought their beautifully handmade creative products to share with all of us. From the delightful decorations (Gwen Kingery,) the fantastic food – that cake! Yum! – (Billie Ray and Anna Galt) and a speedy yet informative meeting (thanks to Rhonda Gilchrist and members of the board,) it was a fabulous fair.

I loved the rope bowls, jewelry, decorations, blankets, afghans and quilts, and all the unique festive gifts – actually, I loved it all!!  I would love to hear what items were your favorites and what you bought either for yourself or for a gift.  As a vendor myself, I wasn’t planning on spending any money but I could not resist the Norwex and Colorstreet bargains!

Our little craft fair is closed to the public and meant to be a community building experience for our members.  It’s amazing the amount of talent and widespread influence our members possess.  I enjoyed being a vendor and showing my friends something I made.  I absolutely loved the joyful vibe in the room and the chatter that took place while we had lunch together. Friendships really are in bloom here!

I’m super excited about our December 14th program with guest speaker Yolanda Sanchez from the Round Rock Ballet Folklorico!  As a special treat, some students from her dance classes will perform for us.  Yolanda will share her personal story and her dedication to cultural growth in Round Rock.  It’s sure to be a memorable experience for all of us.  I hope to see you there.
