Eye Spy – or I can See Clearly Now
It’s time for our first Caring Hands Collection of the new year!
At the October luncheon we will be collecting adult and children’s eyeglasses, sunglasses, readers/cheaters with or without their cases.
In honor of the Lions Club annual White Cane Day, we will be donating them for distribution to those in need here and abroad. Lions Club member Shirley Dillman will be speaking at our October luncheon to give us an insight (pun intended?) into what the Lions Club does and how we can support them in this vital quest to aid the sight of those who cannot afford prescription eyewear.
Start searching those drawers and for your old glasses and bring them to the October luncheon!
