Caring Hands is back…and we are kicking off the new year with lots of volunteer opportunities!
- Continue saving pill bottles (please remove your RX information!) for the WILCO Animal Shelter. Bring them to the OCTOBER luncheon.
- October 14th Volunteer Opportunity at AGE of Texas, an adult respite day care program in Round Rock; 10:30-12:30. We will play games and hep with snack. Register on our website. Limited to 10 volunteers.
- November 18th Volunteer Opportunity at Hope Totes where we will fill bags with new clothing for foster children. 10:00- 12 noon. Register on our website. Limited to 10 volunteers.
- Ongoing collection for Hygiene Kits to be distributed to schools, shelters, hospitals and crisis centers throughout Williamson County. We will assemble kits when we have collected everything needed. Requested items are:
- Bars of Soap/body wash
- Shampoo (full size)
- Conditioner (full size)
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste(full size)
- Toothbrushes
- Pocket tissues and/or wipes
- Small game or books
- Non-perishable food items
- Sunscreen
- Lip balm
- Small notebooks and pens
- Lotion
- Hair ties/scrunchies
- Razors
